  3. About the retailer and where it is located.  Map of locations?   Did they include what states and regions have locations?
  4. Was the screening process discussed in detail and with clear metrics?
  5. Did the student identify the data tools (e.g., ARCGIS Business Analyst) and how the data tools are used?
  6. Did the student identify the particular criteria broken down by customer (e.g. socio-economic, psycho-demographic) and location (e.g., AADT)
  7. Did the student identify how market demand was determined?
  8. Was the student able to find if the retailer uses Trade Capture area, Pull Factors, Reilly’s law or any of the calculations discussed in the readings?
  9. Were specific Real estate requirements discussed? E.g. square footage at a minimum
  10. Were site economics discussed such as expectations for the franchise owners, expected sales, etc.
  11. Extra points if actually talked to a retail owner as recommended
